I know that there are any number of worthy charitable organizations who would gladly accept knitted baby items as donations. But, I need to know the hopes and dreams of the parents when I knit for their child. I need to picture the face, fingers, and toes of a child I'll eventually know and hold when I knit for him or her. Selfish, I'm sure but I could get over it.
I could get over it if I had the right parents to think about as I was knitting for their upcoming child. Like say, these soon to be parents........
So, are you in? Knit some baby items for Chloe and Morris' baby. Then donate them to whichever cause is near and dear to you. I'm calling it "The 24 Baby Knitting Shower". I may be the only one doing it - but at least I know the parents."You're going to have to trust me" - I didn't spoil anything.

What a fun idea! Count me in. I think everything will have to be black, though, for Chloe. There's a nice charity called Hats for Alex (don't have the URL handy, but you could probably Google it) that's looking for preemie hats.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaah! Spoiler! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!! When did you say the DVDs are coming out?! There's a singular lack of information on that when I google (since I immediately spaced the info you gave me).
What a great idea! I called Chloe's condition about 1/2 way through the show - as soon as Morris said she looked kind of pale! I think I will donate mine to the Dulaan Group - kids in Mongolia.

What a clever idea, lady! I'm up to my eyebrows in Dulaan knitting right now and I've never watched 24 -- sacrilege, I know, but our TV reception sucketh (until recently) -- so I'm not gonna join in. But still, what a great idea!
Ahhh, I see now. Knitting for pretend people. I don't have T.V and the only thing I know about 24 is the man purse, I think thats 24 anyhow. Can I knit pretend clothes? heh, Heck, I'll pretend I already have 'em done and mailed. Gee, that was AWESOME!!!!

This is such a great idea, though! I'm running out of babies myself, so this could be neat :)
I too am a fan of "24" and have followed it on DVD's. I have been impatiently waiting for the new season to be released! I don't mind the spoiler, but am now really curious about how it will be introduced. Love this idea and know just where Chloe's baby shower gift will end up -- now to find an interesting pattern.
