And everybody will be complaining about it. Everybody except Holli that is.
Because the greatest mom in all of the whole dog world went in to a store she would not ever normally go into for anything and bought a pool.
And all of a sudden, the dog days of summer don't seem like they'll be so bad. Heck, it even looks like there could be room for mom in that thar pool. On second thought . . .
It's hard to get a good dog shake in action.
Two hours later - I'm wondering if I'll have to provide dinner poolside? Cooper, the miniature poodle from next door is coming down in a little while for a play date. I hope he remembers his sunscreen and water wings . . .

Ya, that dog shake can be a damper... you captured it well though. How nice of you to go to "that place" and get a pool. Sawyer-dog is a scardy-cat when it comes to that, so it's pointless.

OK, this is weird--not only do we both have dogs named Holli, but we both have neighbors with miniature dogs named Cooper! In our case, it's a mini-dachsund.
That looks like one happy Big Yellow Dog. I'm hoping that one of the stores I wouldn't normally go to will still have pools in stock this afternoon because my Big Yellow Dog is hoping he can have one too.
And - we have a Cooper neighbor too, but ours is a BYD.

The last time I went into that particular store, one of their carts conspired to kill me. I haven't been back. I have been tempted to buy myself a pool though. I don't think the cats would appreciate.

I have always always always wanted a pool for Huck. I dont know if he would sit/lay in it like Hollie however. He is such a wild and crazy guy when he swims in lake michigan. If he did what Holli does I'd buy him one in an instant. I love her bikini too!
You lucked out. We always refer to K-Mart as "the store that never has what you want." Holli looks very happy -- you are such a good doggy mommy!
