Inside or Outside

All of a sudden, my day-time calendar is beginning to free up as summer approaches. This allows for longer blocks of time to do things - - requiring longer blocks of time! Since the porch is finally open (and the errant sprinkler head has been repositioned making the porch usable too!) I thought it was time to bring the spinning wheel out of hibernation and get some spinning done.

However, and I'm thinking my fellow Minnesotans will chime in here with some very strong opinions, temperatures yesterday were above 95 degrees and today's are expected to be 92 degrees with very strong breezes. The question, is do I spin outside . . .

. . . or inside? In the basement - where it will be 66 degrees and I'll probably have to turn on the fireplace to take the chill out of the air.

I'd lean toward porch if it weren't for the wind. But, you've got some nice new socks so you might want to think basement.

Basement. Because 90's is nasty with yarn.

Yay! I'm looking forward to some of that warm today (though I don't think it's going to be THAT warm... but perhaps I should go check... and find some suitable clothing!).

Maybe you should just read and sip cold beverages on the porch and store up the heat for the next few days that aren't supposed to break 70!

Wasn't it wonderful yesterday! I say, skip the yarn, and find something you can do on the porch today.

In my attempt to make the entire world greener, I say skip the basement that requires you to turn on the heat and instead enjoy the porch. If it is too warm for wool yarn, grab a book or some cotton knitting.

You thank God that the spinning wheel is portable and make the decision as the Spirit moves you.

Oh, wait, I made a punny one!

I would definitely spin on that porch!! Gorgeous. 90's? So just a wee bit warm? Easy peasy.

It's been a loonnngg, cold winter - USE THE PORCH! I envy your porch!
I was out in the garden today with the warm "breezes" and didn't utter one complaint. Because we all know tomorrow it could snow :)

2 weeks ago I would have said, outside! Today, after having Field Day at school in 80 degree weather, I say 66 sounds mighty fine to me!

I say basement, because sweaty hands and fiber don't go well together. The idea of sitting on the porch with a book and a cool beverage sounds good too.

Outside! That porch is too pretty to ignore.

Have you noticed the dirt and dust that has come along with the wind? My upstairs is covered with it!

Since it's cooled off significantly - I'd choose the porch. Quickly, before it rains.
